What you're allowed to make fun of is always an accurate litmus test for how free your society is.
Whether or not you're allowed to leave is another step down on the rung, but also a good one.

Anyone think a polling firm would find "one more year of masking, please."?

I'm not a pollster and am probably wrong, but my gut says folks don't really associate COVID progress with any party. They know it started under Trump and continued under Biden, and they know eventually it will go away (or become normalized like other flus). In other words, do you think anyone votes with the "Wow, sure glad Biden ended COVID" in mind?
