This could become a permanent thing?

Church across the street, Lutheran of course, is having their first parking lot service this morning at 9am. Cars are parked on both sides of the lot facing in toward the middle, with space between each vehicle.
Pastor: "Can everyone hear me? If you can, honk your horn!"
HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONKInvocation with congregational response:
Pastor: "Christ is risen!"
HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK
Pastor: "Christ is risen!"
HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK
Pastor: "Christ is risen!"
HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONKWho's going to want to go back to a regular service after this? Kids will love honking the horn! They'll be asking when they can go to church again to honk the horn.
They should call it the Holy Horn Honk.
This is the fastest-growing church in our community, and they've found a way to continue to serve.
God bless them and their horns.

I'm surprised they didn't honk again for the benediction. Maybe they'll add that to the service next time.
Orderly exiting from the parking lot, just like each pew takes a turn to exit.
Weekly tithe goes in a blue Rubbermaid tote on a table by the driveway.

I guess this is the Christian version of the moslem call to prayer.

Love it!
