Meanwhile in NYC...

Explain to me the point of BEING THERE along with hundreds of people, all of you with cell phones out, taking pictures and videos. I would think after awhile, a person, even a stupid person, would start to feel like a dope. LOOK AT THE PICTURES I TOOK!! I WAS THERE, MAN!
Does "get a life" mean anything? If you can't get a life, how about a hobby? And the news media eggs it on, they're like sharks in the water looking for blood. As soon as a "protester" spots the news media, it's like, "hey everybody, let me show you my half of the bell curve!"
Should be pretty mellow here in Portland. Cool, rainy evening. But, a couple of fires could warm things up a bit.
Oh yeah, lest I forget: Black Lives Matter, Stick it to the Man, Oink Oink Pigs, I am oppressed AND offended, yo mama, etc.

It’s happening in every city in the country. Even around me right now. There are many peaceful protestors, sure, but it seems there are many criminal looters, rioters, and yes protestors that think they are being peaceful when they are NOT.
If you’re blocking traffic, or locking arms when you’re violating curfew, or not dispersing when you’re lawfully being ordered to, even if your “hands are up”...you better expect getting tear gas, or being tackled by police, or being pushed back by a squad car.
I wouldn’t be surprised to wake up tomorrow knowing the military opened fire.
Don't know if I would issue bullets, but I would issue bayonets and clubs and have the military clear some of the worst of these cities. Cold steel has a chilling effect on most hot-headed rioters.
People that will face a gun will run from a knife.
