My wife has a positive test - I had taken the kids to see grandparents for the weekend (wife wasn't with us). So we've only all been together again since last night.

What are the chances that we don't all have this thing already?

What was the impetus for the test?

She felt off yesterday - sore throat, low energy. Extremely faint line this morning - clear positive test just now.

Thanks all! I'm optimistic that it'll be mild.

@LuFins-Dad Girls weekend, she was out with her sister and cousins. Wine tasting, dinner - so somewhere along those lines.

                            You're young. You're strong. You'll be okay.

Feel like you've been dragged through a keyhole backwards, but okay. As usual, steroids, Pepcid, zinc, Vitamin D &C, and monitor.

Even with Omicron, low O2 sats should be addressed immediately, of course.

Generally speaking, better this variant than what came before.

                                Hope she feels better soon.

So my wife seems to have mostly gotten over it - just some fatigue now. I thought I felt extra fatigued mid-week, but never tested positive (took a PCR yesterday). I feel completely fine.

The kids got it. They're both pretty chipper still, but the younger one had croup symptoms last night. Hoping it goes away in a day or so.

Yeah, we felt the same way.

We'd been so careful, and then my daughter's boss turned up to work while she was sick. It was more than a little aggravating. The following week the entire office got it, so that worked out well for her. Mrs. Phibes read them the riot act.

Glad to hear you're all recovering.
