Very good… Much better than Frozen, maybe as good as The Lion King? Or even better in it’s own way? Curious as to what others think.

Lion King on stage in London was one of the most entertaining and memorable plays I've ever seen. Encanto was a mess.

We watched it today. Beautiful animation similar to that of Coco and Moana. Catchy music but lots of the songs were Hamilton-ish word play (Miranda wrote these songs), so they’re hard to understand.

You just explained why I don't care for "Hamilton." If the music is to carry the story forward, as I assume the music is in "Hamilton," one should be able to hear and understand the lyrics. Think of "Oklahoma," "South Pacific," and "Into the Woods."
You can understand what they're singing.
In "Hamilton," nope.

I didn’t really have a problem. There were a few times when they were singing over each other that was a little difficult, but…

Haha same here, it's been easier to understand on repeating (many many) viewings. We've probably listened to the soundtrack 100x, too. My daughter likes to ask Google to play music during dinner. I don't mind it, it's fun.
