Curling starts a couple days before the opening ceremony.

I usually love the Winter Olympics. Just can’t get too excited about this one.

Just saw that almost all the snow in man made. That’s going to suck.

My wife and I record a billion hours each Olympics then spend the next few months watching it all. Winter has a ton of really great sports, like the biathlon. Guns and skiing. What’s not to like?

We've been watching curling. The mixed doubles "speed" version is pretty fun to watch.

Speaker Pelosi told US athletes to not say anything controversial, because "China is
an assholeruthless."“I would say to our athletes: You’re there to compete. Do not risk incurring the anger of the Chinese government because they are ruthless,” Pelosi said. “I know there is a temptation on the part of some to speak out while they are there. I respect that, but I also worry about what the Chinese government might do to their reputations and to their families.”
Pelosi continued: “So, again, participate, let us celebrate from abroad, and don’t risk thinking that there are any good intentions on the part of the People’s Republic of China’s government — because there are none.”
In other words, "Shut up and
singcompete." -

Telling our athletes to shut up is a pretty outrageous move.
She should be encouraging them to be good representatives of our democracy, and free speech is a vital component of that democracy.
Or she could at least just shut up.

Speaker Pelosi said…..
In other words, "Shut up and
singcompete."She obviously doesn’t follow curling. One of the most exciting parts of any given match is when a rock is thrown and the thrower screams: “HARD….HURRY HARD…HHHHAAAAARRRRDDDD!”
Best heard during the women’s games.
