Rather than have 14 ongoing conversations and different threads, let’s use this thread to discuss the moral ethical legal and civic Obligations of dealing with a disease that primarily kills the old and infirm.

That would be the majority of communicable diseases.
But the fact remains we have an obligation to care for our elderly. Regardless of the calming 'nothing ti worry about' stories that are being foisted on us now to make us think opening up will be a piece of cake, this virus is quite virulent. Honestly, our greatest obligation is to keep it out of teh elderly as much as possible and find a cure/vaccine for it.

I remember when my parents were planning their first visit to us in Ontario, and they said while they were with us they'd like to visit my dad's Aunt in Vancouver - their initial plan was to drive.
