                  I think the concept behind NFT still has long-term merit. At least if I understand it correctly... basically a "digital fingerprint" for a digital asset that enables ownership and therefore value. I'm not talking jpegs of monkeys, but perhaps with art and music. But maybe I don't understand it correctly.

                    "Art" is just the wrong use case for NFTs.

                    Digital items in computer games do have real value. These things would work well as NFTs.

                    And once we have the infrastructure to transfer ownership of real-world things via NFTs, then things become really interesting.
