      @89th as much as I admire the close harmonies and craftsmanship of the Beach Boys, I was never a huge fan. That said, I did see them back in 1999 or so (Walworth County Fair) and they were great - they sounded just like the Beach Boys.

      For a "vocals only" seek out "Under Pressure" with Mercury and Bowie. The power of Mercury's voice is amazing.

      I've probably mentioned this before, by the way: Who is the only Grammy Award Winning Beach Boy, and what was the win for?

        I have seen them in concert several times.

        I bet many don't remember that they were banned from the July 4th concert on the National Mall because they were not wholesome.

        Mr. Reagan corrected that mistake.
