It is certainly fantasy to think that someone an intelligent person would consider "a good politician" would be electable.

Psaki: President Biden Is "Asymptomatic" And Feeling Great
White House press secretary Jen Psaki is asked at Tuesday's briefing if President Biden is "feeling" given his "close contact" with someone who tested positive for COVID.
"OK, thanks, Jen. So, first off, how's the president feeling given the close contact? Is he asymptomatic? Is he doing OK? I know he is getting tested tomorrow, but can you give us an update?" the reporter asked.
"He's asymptomatic," Psaki said. "I spent several hours with him this morning, and he is feeling great. And you'll see him at the speech shortly."
