Woke up this morning to a group text from friends that a friend from the US (actually more of an aquaintance since I did not know her that well) had passed from COVID.
She got COVID and went into the hospital about 10 days ago. When I last got an update at the end of last week, she was still in the hospital but they were talking about her being almost well enough to release. Unfortunately, that was not the case.
I am not sure of her age, but if I am guessing, i think she was between 55-60 and as far as a know, she did not have any underlay health conditions. And unfortunately yes, she was unvaccinated.

I'm really sorry to hear that, TG. It's a terrible way to go.
