    In 1942, this B-17 heavy bomber pilot dropped the first American bomb on occupied Europe.

    History has largely forgotten him for this act.

    But history has remembered him for a different event.

    Who is he?

                                        I took GK's picture standing next to Clonel Tibbets' airplane.

                                        At least I think I probably did, I've taken a lot of peoples' picture there. They all kind of blend together after a while. Maybe D4 took it, or maybe she was in it too.
