You don't think it's just a tiny bit tongue in cheek?😁

“Cry havoc and let slip the DOGE of war!”

Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

It’s hard to tell with that place. You think they’re being sarcastic, then you realize they’re actually serious!

      I was only joking

Possibly tongue in cheek, possibly not. Either way Putin comes across as the wise leader of our times.

I don't know if he's the wise leader of our times, but I've never thought he was a dumb man.

Make no mistake, Putin’s a wise guy. More than anyone in the liberal and conservative West can imagine.

I watched a documentary series episode on his rise to power. Much is made of his time in KGB, but it really didn’t amount to much. He was pretty low level. His rise came after the demise of the USSR. He is smart indeed.

He has the freedom to be wise in practice as a leader, rather than being constricted by the populist ideas of people whose votes he is beholden to.

                Education is extremely important.

                  Mr. Biden excepted, of course.

Yet Putin espouses the populism of the Russian nation. In fact, he is very much beholden to it. That’s how he is simultaneously a bewildering autocrat to Western conservatives and a frightening tyrant to the progressive left.
