Magnus Carlsen does the business again
https://en.chessbase.com/post/world-championship-2021-g11
A very one-sided match. After losing the 6th game, which went on for nearly 8 hours, the Russian guy collapsed, playing some real howlers. Even cutting off his man-bun couldn't save him.
Carlsen is clearly the best in the world, and has been since 2013, but the next generation is coming. The 18 year old Iranian/French Alireza Firouzja looks really strong. Whether he can take Magnus remains to be seen.

I was actually following some of this. You actually had some clear cut wins this time around…

It was really a slaughter after game 6. Nepo blundered really badly 3 times, and Carlsen's technique once he gets an advantage is godlike.

That is impressive.
I have not used it in a while, but I have his Chess program, where you can "play" against him (and at different ages). After about age 6 or 7, I cannot beat him. 555

From the article:
The knight jump to f5 was not the most precise continuation, with 26...exf2+ leading to an easily winning position.
Hahahah what a NOOB.
Carlsen did not need long to show the refutation, starting with 23...dxe3 24.gxf4 Qxg4+ 25.Kf1 Qh3+ 26.Qg1 Nf5
Duh, total easy move. Pwn3d!

@taiwan_girl can you set the age for 95, and see if dementia has set in?
