Just a local town council election.
A mask was required.
A picture ID was required. While they looked at my license picture I asked if they wanted a peek at my face. They said the eyes are enough.
OK, fine.
But on some level it bothered me that they could make up the rules on the fly. Of course they had a good reason for it - Because COVID!
I think there will be a lot of people making up rules on the fly - Because COVID!

I went to a bank with a black face mask on. I looked like the classic movie portrayal of a bank robber. The bank employee checked my government issued picture ID, but never asked to see my face, and let me did all the banking business I went there to do anyway.
