What bulb fits?

D4 came over last week with a burnt-out lightbulb from SIL's office. She asked what kind of bulb to get, since it wasn't a standard socket.
I looked at it, and saw that it was like the bulbs we have in our China cabinet, and sure enough, her burnt-out bulb fit the socket.
So, I ordered a set of these for her:
Last night she texted and said that the bulbs don't fit and sent me a pic of the socket.
Here is the actual bulb:
And here are the inscriptions on the base:

It could be an E23 base, since the socket says E239297
The whole reason we call them illegal aliens is because they’re subject to our laws.

D4 brought the non-fitting bulb. It has a standard base which this clearly is not. That's an E26.
I ordered the wrong damn thing.

Now you have to buy a lamp to fit the bulbs.

Good eye! One that was not on the chart I found.

I think that E-number is the UL file identification number. It might not relate to the size of the fitting.
