Klaus, the "Link to Tweet" is an OK solution. The problem as far as I was concerned once I realized I could see the link if quoting, was that a new user would be confused with posts that appeared to be blank. Initially I thought a viewer had to have their own Twitter account to access anything on Twitter. Guess not!

@Rainman do embedded Tweets still not show up when you use the forum?
Do they a) never show up or b) sometimes show up? What OS/browser do you use?
If you click on this link, does a bunch of computer code show up?
I know I am not Rainman, but I will answer in my experience.
Embedded Tweets have always shown top
I use iMac 10.14.6
When I click on the link, a bunch of code does show up -
@taiwan_girl Thanks for the report. It's always very hard to fix an error without being able to reproduce it, that's why I'm trying to find out what may cause Rainman's problems and what his system is.

Anyone else use Ghostery? It's excellent, as it not only blocks ads on web sites, but removes ads on Youtube.
I use Ghostery Lite and Adblock Plus Control Panel with Safari 13.1.1 on macOS 10.15.5 ... embedded tweets show up fine with this combo.
Also tried Chrome (version 83.0.4103.116) with Adblock and Ghostery on macOS 10.15.5 ... embedded tweets show up fine with this combo.
Also tried FireFox (version 77.0.1) without any adblocking or anti-tracking plugin/extension on macOS 10.15.5 ... embedded tweets show up fine with this combo too.

@Rainman this seems to be a known issue with ghostery. Here you can find a few things to try to make embedded tweets work,
The problem seems to be with the abblocker and not the way the forum embeds tweets. Blame shifting is wonderful!
Thanks, Klaus. I deactivated the Twitter block as well as syndication on Ghostery.
