Occasionally, issues with the forum still pop up. I'll pin this thread such that you have a place to complain or be informed about changes.

Right now there's a small issue with emojis. Resolving them will likely require forum rebuilds (which take the forum down for 5min or so), hence I'll delay that to a time with less traffic (when it's middle of the night in the US). For now, emojis are disabled.

I need an avator. Can someone explain the best/easiest way to do that?
Maybe even a suggested one I can copy and paste. That would be awesome too?
Not sure if that is part of Klaus duties and I can just expect the service?

Pic a picture that you like, and then, either save it to your desktop, or copy the link to the picture.
Go to your account and "Edit Profile." That should be right under the default avatar that you have.
Then you have the option to
- Upload a picture from where you saved it (there's a size limit).
- Upload from the URL of the pic you selected.
Done.

They don't allow hot linking anymore unless you pay a fee.
Download it to your computer and resize it so it meets the requirements.
Alternatively, upload the pic to
Then get the image address and use that URL

Tapatalk allowed you to change the font and size of a word in an indivuall post.
Can we do that here? I don't see an option. I see "bold," "italic," and "strikethrough." as the only choices.

When I change some topics from "Not Watching" to "Watching", I don't always get the Notifications that a new post has arrived.
Anyone else?

There are still some technical issues with the emoji support. There seems to be a bug in the latest version of it. I've filed a bug report to the developers and am hopeful that it will be fixed shortly.

Yes, it's part of the keyboard function of my phone, and the new site allows it just like other characters from the keyboard.
