I just checked. It still occurs on my PC even when I'm connected to phone hotspot, but not on the iPhone.

OK, then it's not related to your WiFi.

So the problem shows up on your PC, but not on your phone, right?

On your PC, could you try with a different browser?

@Mik If I am connected to a VPN I get strange behavior too. Maybe going through the hotspot is a similar issue.

I installed Opera and it seems to work. I have looked at my settings in Edge and played with the ones that I thought might have some effect and nothing. Any suggestions?

I also logged in as a sock and have the same problem. It would appear to be browser related. But what?

I tried it with Edge on my computer and the tweet embedding works fine.

Maybe you have particularly restrictive JavaScript-related settings?

No, but I had tracking prevention set to strict. I had tried changing to basic and/or balanced, but I did not close the browser then log in again. Set to balanced now it seems to be working.

I'd much prefer strict, myself, but this works. I tried adding Twitter as an exception in strict but it still did not work.

It's funny, because I've always been on strict. Might be something in the new release.

Just as a postscript, I changed it back to strict. With the workaround I found on Twitter links, the ads I had to put up with on the relaxed privacy setting are far worse.

Twitter posts don't show up using two three four different browsers.

Had a very brief "nodebb" whiteout a few minutes ago t; everything is fine now.
