    This is weird.

Embedded Tweet shows up but, scroll down and they do not.

I think in the particular examples, the tweet that was supposed to be embedded does no longer exist on the Twitter website, so it's not a problem with the forum itself.

        That makes sense.

Official support for our Ubuntu version runs out in 2022, hence I'm upgrading to Ubuntu 20.04.

This can take a few hours in which the forum will likely not be accessible. I'm sorry about that.

Why does the X out of Y indicator/control overwrite the menu?

@mark I noticed that, too. Maybe something wrong the theme, or the configuration thereof? A competent forum administrator, such as @mark, should look into this...

Because your browser window is too narrow.

@george-k OK. I can go with that.

It still not optimal. I had to stretch my browser to the full width of my MacBook Pro screen.

The layout recently changed for the forum on my iPhone. I’m not really liking the way the notifications are popping up on my dashboard and the search isn’t working.

Not sure if it is my internet or if anyone else is having a problem, but alot of the forum board features do not work anymore. For example:

                                search function
                                going to last unread post
                                seeing dates/times on posts
being able to hit the "reply" or "quote" button on someones post
only the last 10 or so posts can be shown. Not able to see any more than that.

Using an iMac using Safari 15.3 and operating system Big Sur 11.6.4

Just happened a couple of days ago. I have "auto" updates on, so not sure if something updated and is causing the problem.

I suppose I could try another browser but would have to download one, and all the other webpages that i look at seem to be unaffected.

                                  That's very strange.

Do you have a screenshot or something to illustrate the problem?

@Klaus It must have something to do with using Safari (and maybe with a VPN, but I dont think so).

I just downloaded the Firefox browser and this forum board seems to operate normally with this browser. 🤷

This morning we had an outage that lasted an hour or two.

The reason was that the latest NodeBB upgrade fucked up the server pretty badly, and amazingly it was at first not even possible to restore from the last backup (the good old trick of turning it off and then on again eventually worked).

It is possible that a small number of posts has been lost.

I'll investigate this in more detail when I have more time.

I thought it was the Russians. TNCR would be the obvious place to start if you want to bring down Western civilisation, after all.

                                        I was only joking

Any hope for the Twitter plug-in?

                                          Or the spoiler plug-in?

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.
