That leaves only the spoilers as the main thing that is currently not working.
I believe there's another spoiler plugin, which is less sophisticated in that the text will still be visible in post previews etc. The nice thing about the current plugin is that - when it works - it loads the hidden text dynamically when the button is clicked.
So we could either switch back to the stupid spoiler plugin, or we could wait and hope that the nice plugin will be fixed soon.

Looks like the "shoutbox" killed the twitter embed.

Well, I thought every once in a while it may be fun to play around with some new forum feature - there's a quite active community - and see whether we like it.
But if they break other stuff, then it isn't fun.

I support experimentations, they help us keep up with the time and they keep things interesting. Nothing we discuss here is mission critical, so no big deal with this site βbreaksβ once in a while. The underlying architecture of this system allows for fairly easy backup/restore, so we can recover from a system issue fairly easily when our experiments occasionally go sideways.

Indeed, I can replicate the error.
Since the error doesn't seem to cause any real problems, for now I'll just wait whether it gets solved automatically in the next release of the forum.
If it starts to make any real problems, I'll try to debug it (e.g. see whether it depends on a particular plugin).

Not sure if it is just me, but I dont see the emoticons any more. When I click on the symbol, I get a tab for "legal information" on emoticons.
(Just a very minor inconvenience)

Apparently Duck Duck Go Privacy Essentials was the culprit. I deactivated it on this site and embedded twitter is working.

The DuckDuckGo browser app does not appear to let me disable it, so Twitter embedding just won't work in the DuckDuckGo browser. (Not really a complain, just an observation.)

I think in the particular examples, the tweet that was supposed to be embedded does no longer exist on the Twitter website, so it's not a problem with the forum itself.

That makes sense.
