@Loki Easy Peasy.

Pic a picture that you like, and then, either save it to your desktop, or copy the link to the picture.

Go to your account and "Edit Profile." That should be right under the default avatar that you have.

Then you have the option to

1. Upload a picture from where you saved it (there's a size limit).
2. Upload from the URL of the pic you selected.

Done.

They don't allow hot linking anymore unless you pay a fee.

Download it to your computer and resize it so it meets the requirements.

Alternatively, upload the pic to

https://postimage.org

Then get the image address and use that URL

Tapatalk allowed you to change the font and size of a word in an indivuall post.

Can we do that here? I don't see an option. I see "bold," "italic," and "strikethrough." as the only choices.

When I change some topics from "Not Watching" to "Watching", I don't always get the Notifications that a new post has arrived.

Anyone else?

Yes, it's part of the keyboard function of my phone, and the new site allows it just like other characters from the keyboard.

They'll be back. Don't worry guys, I just didn't have time to investigate the issue in detail.

There are still some technical issues with the emoji support. There seems to be a bug in the latest version of it. I've filed a bug report to the developers and am hopeful that it will be fixed shortly.

Thanks to the novel financial support, I'll upgrade our server tomorrow morning and that will hopefully be the end of "temporarily unavailable due to excessive load" (at least when it concerns actual load and not just server restarts and maintenance).
