I thought Monday 11/1 was? We have a new neighbor who celebrate Diwali and invited us over on Monday for food/fireworks in their driveway. Our kids loved the "christmas lights" they have on their house already. It's funny, for moving to a somewhat affluent suburban neighborhood in minnesota, there's more diversity than I expected. Jewish, black, asian, indian (not you, Larry), plus plenty of boring old white people like me too. Our kids will enjoy it here.

Yes, much of Minnesoooota is a melting pot. It surprises some folks to know that. There are also areas that remain very connected to their family roots of long ago, be it Scandihooooovian of some flavor, Germanic, Irish, Greek, etc. That makes for lots of great community, too.
It's all good. Prost!
