The Kyle Rittenhouse trial in Kenosha

I remember last time he had some great inside scoop and it turned out to be bullshit it came out in the discussion here that he does this stuff a lot. He works/worked at OANN, so that's a feature not a bug in terms of his career.
But I don't remember all the details, I'm sure google does.

Yeah I’m really invested in making sure BLM activists don’t come off as intimidating jurors.
That should be obvious to everyone who watched me reflexively defend them from Furguson to Portland.
I bet you've even catalogued in your head that one time you said something negative about the Biden administration.

My point was the plausibility and the conclusions that would be drawn by a reasonable person about retribution being on the mind of the jurors. jon 1.0 might have been willing to engage in that discussion, rather than running from something that makes his tribe look bad.
By the way, I have a 12 year old so I am fully aware of the lure of "I know you are but what am I". But not only am I willing to engage in discussions of the possibility, I said as much in the post you are responding to.

Yes, it's plausible, and a reasonable person would reach the conclusion that retribution is on the minds of the jurors. Which is entirely the fault of the culture of the left.

@George-K I think I’ve only seen that guy’s name here and it was a discussion about him making shit up out of whole cloth.
I apologize in advance if I have the name wrong.
In this case, it's very believable. This jury has not been sequestered. They are local people who watched their town burn to the tune of $11,000,000, during the Kenosha riots. There are National Guard troops guarding the courthouse. There are "activists" panting to doxx them and their families.
The current POTUS called Rittenhouse a murderer.
What do you think?

$11,000,000, during the Kenosha riots.
I heard $50,000,000.

The current POTUS called Rittenhouse a murderer.
Not aware of that, but I did hear him call Rittenhouse a member of the white supremacists. Yesterday, Psaki punted on that question.

You are correct. Biden called him a white supremacist. I thought he had said Rittenhouse murdered two people, but I can't find it.

d said Rittenhouse murdered two people, b
It was CBS who tweeted the Rittenhouse being a murderer. Biden claimed Rittenhouse was a member of a militia from Illinois.

His legal bills for November have already exceeded $100k.
And his defense fund was already sitting at $500K

Don't know how much of it he has. The figure I gave was just for the first 15 days of the month. As I understand it, that includes no expenses prior.

I'll say it again, America needs better laws coverage reporting of criminal cases.
This is like reality TV.

Featured in a recent newsletter by Andrew Torba, the CEO and co-founder of parent company Gab AI, the video, down to its title, perfectly expresses Gab’s editorial line: a mix of faux expertise (Paul is a former eye surgeon), populist outrage, and selective analytical insight that invariably lands in a place where the elites are lying to you, America has lost its way, and white Christian values are under attack. The video also signifies Torba’s own rising profile as a right-wing, Christian (he signs all of his newsletter posts “Jesus is King”),

I thought Jesus was the Prince of Peace? You can't be freaking both.
Americans get so confused by royalty.

No, I can't be always and everywhere either.
That's why I'm down here and He is up there.

Turley:
The defense filed a new motion for dismissal alleging that the prosecution withheld key video evidence. The defense was given a 3.6MB video while the prosecution used a 11.2MB. The larger file was not provided to the defense "until after the trial concluded."
Given the continual complaints over the "grainy" quality of videos, the withholding of a high def version is astonishing. However this case has been continual train wreck of evidentiary and tactical failures.
