Our HOA Facebook group (345 members) has a rule that says, No political discussions
I am the guy who enforces the rules
Yesterday a member posted a picture of "Youngkin for Governor" yard signs and offered to deliver them to anyone who wants them.
The post was reported to me.
Of course it turned into a big brawl, I maintained my composure.
I asked the author to remove it, she went crazy.
I removed it this AM.
I am the woke nazis.

Haha good for you. As a former mod at TNCR from 2006-2012, I can tell you the sockpuppetry and troll removals is a thankless job. The salary made up for it though.

Every day George and I split the daily TNCR proceeds. After giving 10% to Klaus of course.

You did the right thing. For which you will be scorned and shunned.

Out of curiosity, what was her reasoning, did she think it wasn’t really political? Or did she argue about the rule itself with some free speech claim?

Both.
When it was reported to me I thought the original post, with just the signs, was borderline. If it wasn't reported as a rule-breaker I probably would have ignored it.
But once the post started to get replies it turned into a rally for Youngkin.
Of course she claimed that I was violating her free-speech rights. I told her I liked free-speech too, but it doesn't exist here.
