I have very little sympathy for this guy. I'm sorry his wife got sick, but three years unemployed? Really? This speaks of overspending and underpreparing.

Ok it’s one thing when an 18 year old says that. This guy was 50 when he signed for these.

Yeah. You start getting some idea of why he was unemployed for three years
Plus, this has to be private schools. There is nothing wrong with sending your kids to a school you can afford. I suspect they were in debt in other ways as well.

After the race narrative, the priceless necessity of formal education is maybe our dumbest, least realistic, and most harmful cultural idea. And of course in order to be in the running for that distinction, the idea has to be embraced by the majority. To the extent that an indoctrinated person looks akimbo at anybody who questions it.

I got an associate's degree (although I have most of a four year degree in credits) and have done better than most of the MBAs I know. A degree might get you in the door initially, but after that it is what you do.
