Hay, Dr. Phibes! Great Maker!

The casting in the original series was spectacular. I thought Bruce Boxleitner was a bit of a poor choice - a bit too all-American boy compared to Michael O'Hare, but pretty much everybody else was perfect. Who would have thought that Pavel Chekhov would be so damn creepy and evil once he put a wig on?

@doctor-phibes I have to agree.
"Bester...." mwuahhhahhaa!
Also replacing Claudia Christian with Tracey Scoggins was a disaster, imo.

My favourite ever episode was the one where Ivanova and Talia Winters got very friendly, and were lounging around together in satin night attire. The internal move playing in my head was something to behold.

I follow a B5 group on FB.
Someone posted a line from Vir Cotto. I don't know if it was in the series or not, but it's a great sentiment....
"Don't you know that all I ever wanted was...just a good job.
A small title...nothing fancy.
Maybe a wife I could love.
Maybe even one could actually love someone like me."
What a great character he was.

I dunno...

I don't know if it's complete, but it appears to contain several episodes.

Amazing how well the CGI has held up for 30 (!) years.
But...the dialog and directing seem oddly stiff.

Yes, you're right on both counts. The acting is very obviously acting, but the effects are really quite good.
