Defund the Iron Dome

Put aside for a second the questions of whether the US should be sending aid to Israel, and how much.
Apparently some members of "The Squad" want to eliminate part of the budget that allocate funds to Israel's "Iron Dome" which intercepts incoming missiles.
This is 100% a defensive weapon.
I don't understand the thinking of hindering our allies from defending themselves.

They're not our allies, though. They're warmongers. Take that money and give it to Palestine.
That's prob'ly what they'd say.

Is advocating against our allies treason?

They don't have those things because of Western prejudices. That's what they'd say, too.
And while I don't think it's that clear-cut, I also don't think how it works in the international community is that you need an embassy or capital in order for your rights to be considered.
My litmus test for how seriously to take a position on Israel/Palestine is how complicated and nuanced it is. The simpler, the dumber and more delusional.

We elected people who hate us and our allies.
Elections have consequences.

This kind of thing is easy. We can always find an argument....
Nothing to do with Israel, but for example, I look at some of my "less progressive" Facebook friends, and they often post these little pictures saying we shouldn't be sending money overseas in aid, but should be helping the poor in Britain instead, frequently accompanied by heart-rending photos of old men who fought in WW2 and have no legs and shit.
Then they'll complain about the fact that to many benefits are paid to lazy, good-for-nothing poor people in the UK, with a heart-rending photo of some smug rich cunt, saying he pays too much in tax, and it's no wonder he lives abroad.
Then they'll post complaining about well-known black person Lewis Hamilton not paying his fair share in taxes because he lives abroad and how he should be ashamed.
Then they'll post a picture of Nigel Farage with that stupid fucking inbred chinless grin, and I'm forced to de-friend them.

Isn’t cunt a feminine noun, not masculine?
Grammar police but with Englishman you can’t be too sure.

D2 uses it as a non-binary term. Applies to all.

It's primarily used as an insult for men in the UK.

I wonder if I should use or, at least, remember that the next time someone I am speaking to identifies as and wants to be referred to as non-binary?

@renauda actually, no.
When I was working, I'm sure my use of that noun would have cause a "stern reprimand" from our chairman. Of course, he would have done it with a wink and a nod - he's a good guy, and a friend.
Having been educated by
D'Oh@Doctor-Phibes , in the internet usage of the term, I'm more apt to use it. -
