It's primarily used as an insult for men in the UK.

I wonder if I should use or, at least, remember that the next time someone I am speaking to identifies as and wants to be referred to as non-binary?

@renauda actually, no.
When I was working, I'm sure my use of that noun would have cause a "stern reprimand" from our chairman. Of course, he would have done it with a wink and a nod - he's a good guy, and a friend.

D'Oh@Doctor-Phibes , in the internet usage of the term, I'm more apt to use it.
