I don't think anybody really ever makes transactions that large out here in the real world. This just shows how out-of-touch those in the Beltway are with regular folk.
Just to put it in perspective, $600 is about the cost of 1200 eggs - and not just any old eggs - CAGE FREE ORGANIC ONES!
That's a bloody big hippy omelet.

On the positive side, this should help them track down all those panhandlers that drive Porsches at the weekend.
