Sunk a 12 footer for eagle yesterday. Edgerton Town Country Club. Owned by Steve Stricker. #4 hole, par 4. A short par 4 at 265 yards, but, my drive landed pin high, 12ft to the right of the pin. And I didn't choke! First eagle in over 20 years. lol.

I also drained a 16-18 footer for birdie on the 15th par 5. A couple of pars too. But the rest of my game was not so hot.

    Golf. Frustratingly fun. 😉

@89th Thanks! Yes, an eagle is a rare, and awesome event for an amateur.

@mark Another way to think about this is, standing 265 yards away from the hole, you were able to get up and down from there 😄

            Nice, yes it is rare

I have played 517 rounds 9,306 holes in the last 2 years - 2 eagles.

Of course I am a pathetic old man - not the benchmark.

I just read a piece that said 1 or 2 eagles in 50 rounds might be average for an amateur. That is approximately 10X my eagle output.
