What was the reasoning for the drone strike to begin with? Who was it they thought they were going after?

They thought the water cans were gas cans. Remember.... launching that kind of missile requires Biden personally authorize the strike.

Good question.
"Hey they killed 13 of our soldiers! Let's kill some of those guys!" was presumably the reasoning.
The fact that it occurred so quickly after the killing of the GIs lends credence to that point. Remarkable how quick it was.

So filling gas cans is deserving of a drone strike? The fvcking bastards going door to door pulling out and shooting collaborators and taking children were A-OK, but somebody filling up a fucking gas can?

Here we are 8 months later.... and the majority of legal Biden votes would vote for Trump.
