On a vaguely related note, this is well worth watching. Shows how much prep went into making Band of Brothers.

@doctor-phibes thanks for linking that.
Very interesting.

@George-K @Doctor-Phibes @89th after watching that, I binged on a few Maj. Winters interviews. Some interesting stuff:
- Blythe from Band of Brothers, Episode 3, was actually a badass. He survived WWII. When the Korean War broke out, he volunteered. Again as a paratrooper. While there he was awarded a silver star, a bronze star, and a purple heart. Died in '67.
- Spiers did indeed do that shit.

I liked the 2 matrix sequels, especially the 2nd (Reloaded), just lots of fun to watch.
I watched them both this weekend.
The 2nd is a better movie, imo, but needs the 3rd to finish the story. It's my understanding that they were filmed at the same time.

I watched it, The Matrix Resurrections.
Certainly pays a lot of homage to the original trilogy.
Acting and cinematography are generally good.
Makes fun if itself, which is fine.
Storytelling, at least in the first half, is even more confusing than the first Matrix movie.
Not breaking any new ground, the first Matrix movie has done enough of that.
Overall, this movie to the original Matrix franchise is like The Rise of Sky Walker to the original Star Wars movie. -
I’m in the middle of Resurrections. I quite liked the computer game thing
I’ve seen worse movies

There's a really good joke in there somewhere, but I still haven't had my first cup of coffee.
Wait, wait....
THERE it is!
