I sleep with three pillows. I tend to like firmer pillows, and use two under my head.

The third is between my knees.

What about the rest of you...how many? Where?

I have a foam wedge, a very firm solid Memory foam pillow and a feather pillow on top for my head. Then I have one between my knees and one in front of me.

The head stuff is odd because I’m a side sleeper.

I just last week got a couple free medium size My Pillows. Now I use them. 1 under my head to sleep, 2 for reading.

I do. I especially liked the 2 for 1 deal which gave Mrs. Mark a new pillow and she likes it too. Love that you can just toss them in the washing machine and dryer (multiple dryer cycles required) and they are guaranteed to not fall apart for 10 years.

I've never understood why anyone would use more than one pillow.

I hate it when I arrive at a hotel in the US and the bed is covered with dozens of completely useless pillows.

That's actually better advice than you think.

I'm not very interested in most of what more money gets you at hotels. I don't need a big room or even multiple rooms. I don't need a big bed, especially not with six thousand pillows. I don't give a damn about their breakfast or room service. I don't want a TV, a bathtub, a minibar, or a fucking trousers press. I've never used a hotel pool, massage facilities, office facilities etc.

A 10 sqm room with a 90x200cm bed with a decent mattress, a single chair with a small table, a shower, decent WLAN, clean and not too noisy, modern design. That's really all I want.

I know one hotel chain that comes somewhat close to my requirements, namely Ibis, but they are only widely available in France.
