Yeah, good luck with that.
You know what would be interesting? Have a group of some 12-15 people, blacks and whites, congregate in a comfy space, maybe have some snacks, and toss out these precepts he lists early on, and see what kind of discussion develops. The people should possess some degree of exploratory intellect and a spirit of willingness.
Probably everybody would learn something.

This presents an interesting case study and test for my EWPW&FM hypothesis. So far the FM contingent has responded to that thread as predicted. No word yet from the EWPW contingent. Those who adhere to neither category acknowledge that the essay makes sense, but that it's social suicide to say any of it out loud.
Education is extremely important.
