The activation is for 18 aircraft: three each from American Airlines, Atlas Air, Delta Air Lines, and Omni Air; two from Hawaiian Airlines; and four from United Airlines.

The flights would not fly into Afghanistan but instead would be used to transport those who have already been flown out of the country.

What? The USAF doesn't have 18 aircraft that can handle this mission?

At the moment I see 4 airplanes flying in Afghanistan, there are probably some I do not see

Blinker is on Face The Nation. He was directly asked if Americans in Kabul are on their own to get to the airport. He would not answer which means yes.

He is a very weak SOS.

Not that we need proof, but this is more clear evidence the administration did not plan for any of this to happen.
