Well, maybe people believed Fauci about all that vaccine stuff...

Not being obtuse, I miss your point. Do you think Fauci wouldn’t have said the same thing about Chicago? Or that Chicago gets a pass because it’s a dem city?

Fauci said the same thing about Lolapalooza to Katie Couric at the time.

          I wasn't aware of that.

"I was a bit taken aback by the film clips that I saw," he told Couric. "There were a lot of people crowded around together, and given the fact that we know that vaccinated people can spread infection, and even though we know that outdoors is always safer than indoors, there was a really lot of crowded that we saw in those films. So I got a little bit concerned about that myself. I'm pretty risk averse. So I would, even though I'm vaccinated, I don't think I would go to a really massively crowded place where you're essentially face-to-face with somebody. I would be concerned about that."

Good thing Mayor Lightfoot pays attention to the science.

Seems to me that Fauci gets blamed for a lot of stuff that other people do.

I don't really understand why he's become such a target. Plenty of people have fucked up a lot more than he has.

            I was only joking

Before he said to wear masks. Either way, he's got us covered... 😉

I asked someone about why the media is fixated on Sturgis but not so much on Lollapalooza. I did not know that there were mandatory requirements to be met to get in:

                      https://support.lollapalooza.com/hc/en-us/articles/4403048984852-Covid-19-Health-Policy-and-Lollapalooza-Entry-Requirements

I cannot comment on actual enforcement or how easy it was to evade.

How about if Mr. Obama's party turns into a super-spreader event? I'm sure that the media will find nobody caught COVID at the party. Anybody who tests positive will have caught it passing by the Republican's house, which is three doors down from Mr. Obama's.
