Inspired by @kluurs recommendation, I read David Sinclair's book, "Lifespan." The guy has some serious academic credentials, and his book makes some very compelling points about why and how we age.
Now, the military is giving his work a serious look.

Since reading Sinclair's book, I've been taking one of the supplements (not specifically) referenced in that article. I've been at it for about 8 months.
Do I feel better? Probably not.
Do I feel worse? Definitely not.
Am I crazier? You guys figure it out. -

ETA: my doc diagnosed me with Type II diabetes, which I very successfully brought under control with diet/exercise. I got my A1C to about 5.3 in about 6 months. I convinced him to add metformin, just in case, based on Sinclair's work.

I bought some based on that. My attorney says to keep a copy of this thread in case it is harmful.

I was the same until I got to age 45. My thyroid acted up, and I started supplemental thyroid. Since then, it's been about an additional pill per year, LOL.

In our twenties we take acid. In our 50's we take acid-reflux.
(Not that I ever took acid, obviously. I always was a boring old fart in that regard)
