Went to a reggae concert last night, and an opera broke out.
Link to videoReminded me of the great movie Step Brothers. I like to imagine the band took inspiration from the movie, but more likely it's the most famous opera song and so it appears everywhere.
Link to videoI was trying to describe what reggae music was to my mom, and came up with "black people hippy music". I was proud of that one.

There are two types of Halloween enthusiast. "Monster Mash" or "Misfits."
I'm not into the Monster Mash.

That was neat. I guess it's lost to history who invented that configuration of notes on a keyboard, but it sure has stood the test of time. Pretty brilliant actually.

I haven’t made it through the whole cycle, and it’s been a while since I have visited Gardiner but my sense is that Bruggen brings more refinement, Gardiner more passion.

Well - have done a few comparisons. Gardiner wins on the 9th - but early symphonies and 6th - I might take the Bruggen - better sound. We can compare next visit.

Better performance as well in the early symphonies.
