Went to a reggae concert last night, and an opera broke out.
Link to videoReminded me of the great movie Step Brothers. I like to imagine the band took inspiration from the movie, but more likely it's the most famous opera song and so it appears everywhere.
Link to videoI was trying to describe what reggae music was to my mom, and came up with "black people hippy music". I was proud of that one.

It followed me home from the record store today. Dead silent, dark background. Awesome mix, and mastering. Definitely the best version of Kind of Blue I have ever heard.

That was neat. I guess it's lost to history who invented that configuration of notes on a keyboard, but it sure has stood the test of time. Pretty brilliant actually.

New Steven Wilson remix of this classic progressive rock album.
Yes, I know the the story behind it and I also know all of the lyrics from memory. I used to play along with it on the drums in my youth.
