I love Skyline "chili." How's the canned stuff?

My experiment from yesterday was less than satisfying. Just tasted "off." Don't know what I did wrong.

But speaking of "slumming," we did BLTs today.

Canned is excellent. Luckily MFR loves it too. Just can't see spending $7 on a three way at the drive thru when I can make two of them for less than that at home. And its really easy.

      Cook pasta.
      Heat chili
      Put in bowl
      Add onions
      Add cheese

      Can't get much easier.

There is also a canned brand called Cincinnati Chili that is just as good. Or Dixie if you can get it, but I doubt that. Avoid Gold Star.

I wouldn't. That's terribly expensive. Better from Walmart.

I wonder how it would be if I took some of that, divided it into lunch-size portions with some spaghetti and froze it. That's what I did yesterday for my Skyline "imitation." I love an easy pop-it-in-the-microwave lunch.

I'm sure it was. How did you do it?

                    Spaghetti?
                    Cheese?
                    Onions?
                    Sour Cream?
