I wonder if you can buy a Tucker Carlson mask.
Somebody could make a fortune...

If he advocated for harassment or calling the cops on people wearing masks outdoors, it would be the dumbest and craziest thing I'm aware of that he ever said.

I believe it was at least partially tongue in cheek.
I think he wanted to highlight inconsistent reasoning, that is what he does.

As we reach a tipping point of vaccinations though...masks will become less and less common. I never wear it outside unless I’m quite nearby others who are also wearing masks. Respect.
I wear a mask when outside these days because I’ve found that doing so seems to moderate my allergic reactions to pollens and whatnot in the air this time of the year. Before COVID-19 wearing masks would have been weird. But since COVID-19 it’s become more acceptable to wear a mask, and if doing so also brings along the benefit of reducing one’s reaction to allergens in the air, why not?

I never wore a mask outdoors or in my car. But I also wasn’t in close proximity of people outdoors except passing by.

I noticed a big difference between how people are around here, small town, and in Boston. Here, not many wear them outside as you can space pretty easily. In Boston, everybody had one on.

Very few people here wear masks outdoors. I certainly do not and nor does my spouse. Never have and there is really no need if physical distancing can be maintained. Besides there are no provincial or municipal regulations requiring outdoor masking. We nevertheless avoid outdoor situations where there are crowds and large gatherings such as multi family picnics, concerts and sporting events as well.

I never wear a mask outdoors but almost everybody else here does. Walkers, joggers, etc. I don't know that it's so much a political statement as it is monkey see, monkey do.

No, it's not. That applies to so many things.
We had dinner with a friend who was trying to justify her belligerent ant-mask stance with the old saw that masks make you sick! But she is getting more irascible as she ages.

My 92 year old mother lives in Boston and walks every day. She has received the vaccine. If she sees someone coming without a mask she will cross the street.

Depends on the color.
Of the mask, that is.

The reason the CDC talk to us as though we're a bunch of morons who can't use their common sense is because we're a bunch of morons who can't use our common sense.

Social media seems to be more effective than our education system although we were morons before it took hold.
