That’s one of the many discrepancies today, George. Sex workers are being encouraged today. Porn is celebrated. The Dallas Cowgirls are giving lap dances on basic cable and Teen Vogue is teaching girls how to have anal sex, Wet Ass Pussy is going platinum and it’s all good. But #metoo!
Seems like a discrepancy on its face, on one hand a move toward libertinism and on the other a move toward Puritanism.
To make sense of it you need to look at it through the lens of a particular type of modern feminism. If you think of it as a project which seeks to maximally constrain male sexuality while minimally constraining female sexuality then all the discrepancies fall away.

The two are different in nature. One is an employer wanting their employees to look/act a certain way. The other are individuals choosing the look/act a certain way.
