Ok click bait title.
But today driving to work, the roads seemed crowded, the weather was warm and sunny, lots of school buses out, vaccinations becoming common, cases falling... it FEELS like by June the whole idea of COVID will be a memory.

Deaths are going to continue to be a thing, as will long-haulers, for many years to come. It'd be more accurate to say the end game is that it becomes something like the flu.

I think you’re right on the latter point. As the weather turns and the next 100MM or so get vaccinated it’ll feel over.
But I think you live in an area where more workers have been vaccinated than most parts of the country. (My guess anyway).

Yeah, it’ll be easy for it to feel over after you are personally protected.
But also there are a lot of people in his situation in the DC area. IOW people who had no business being prioritized but received the shot anyway.
