Kind of odd any school would do this so close to the end of the school year... but anyway, that’ll be nice for your son!

Yeah but I’m happy to hear it. Hell, some districts are talking about not fully reopening even in the fall. Though I think that will be an untenable position for them by this summer.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention posted new recommendations Friday on the importance of good ventilation in preventing coronavirus spread in schools and daycares. Its top recommendation: Open a window.

I’m sure they’ll do that. They’re also getting air purifiers for each room. Also I'm sure the warm weather is a consideration for doing this in April.

Their biggest concern is lunch, but in the warm weather kids can eat outside. I suspect on rainy days they'll have kids eat in classrooms as well as the cafeteria.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

              Great. When’s Broadway opening?

I don't know. But I'm hopeful I'll be able to resume concerts at Carnegie Hall in September.

We used to walk home for lunch in grammar school.

                    The Virginia Symphony is back.

For the first time in nearly a year, the Virginia Symphony Orchestra will perform live concerts

It’s been almost a year since the Virginia Symphony Orchestra has performed together, but their musical moratorium will soon come to an end.

Starting Friday, the VSO will take the stage for six live concerts in Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Newport News through March 28.

It's all like taking first steps after back surgery.
Careful, next step, careful, longer stride, careful, "hey, not bad!," careful, take it easy, careful, "damn good!!"

Actually, that's how they should approach reading Huckleberry Finn.

Jon, have you heard how the district will react to any cases of Covid at the building level, IOW, are they keeping the parents informed adequately in your opinion on their plan B, plan C, so to speak?

Well now they have people quarantine who were potentially exposed to the positive case. Sometimes that’s a whole classroom. So I imagine they’ll do more of the same.
