It's anecdotes like this that make me believe that left wing nuttery is way more prevalent than right wing nuttery. I hear about right wing nuttery from twitter reports by jon, little elsewhere. I live with, and hear personal accounts of, left wing nuttery.
Education is extremely important.

I think locality is more important than sums. Doesn't do much to say there are more leftwing nutters overall if all your rural neighbors are Qanon Trumpists.
But around my area, yeah, far more left-wing nutters, so they're of more concern to me than the far-right.
