So, this happened today. Flight from Denver, at about 2000 feet had the engine cowling fall off, FALL OFF, the starboard engine:

That’s a triple 7 meaning the engine is a GE90. Those are immense.

Never actually watched that movie. I hear that the original writer/director has an idea for a sequel and is trying to wrest the rights back...
