    Fairhope, AL. Across the bay from Mobile, this town is just gorgeous. Great downtown, antebellum mansions, best beignets ever. Nice boutique shopping for MFR. Could easily live here.

          THat's worth noting George.

          We lived in FL when I was a kid, then moved back up north. Whenever someone would tell my parents they wanted to move to FL, they'd tell them to spend a summer down there first.

            I’ve been on the delta for a summer. Without air conditioning. I know what it is.

                The Mobile area used to known for affordable housing. Especially inland, land was reasonable. But that was yesterday. Today, I don't know.
