Thought this was a fun story. Saw the maker on tv this morning. Awesome. She said something like on that stage were all the designer outfits and there was Bernie Sanders wearing the mittens I made out of old sweaters on a sewing machine my mom gave me.

- a lot of people make them. Old wool sweaters felted, cut and sewn together. I have a pair I bought at a craft fair in Maine. There were several ladies selling them, and it’s hard to find old wool sweaters at the thrift stores now! -
