I was commenting more on society and the impact of social media. Important events occur but all the people want are the dopamine hits they get from being funny. That might be frightening. To be clear my comment has nothing to do with partisan politics.

@catseye3 - a lot of people make them. Old wool sweaters felted, cut and sewn together. I have a pair I bought at a craft fair in Maine. There were several ladies selling them, and it’s hard to find old wool sweaters at the thrift stores now!
